Ensemble Video Redirect Links to be Disabled on 10/1
As you may recall, Information Technology Services (ITS) migrated all content from the Ensemble video hosting platform to Panopto in 2022. To ease the transition to the new platform, we then redirected all existing Ensemble links to the corresponding videos in Panopto. The redirects were designed to last for two years.
We are now approaching the two-year mark and are planning to disable these redirects on Tuesday, October 1.
Action May Be Required to Avoid Broken Links
If your Canvas courses or webpages have embedded video links older than two years, check if they point to Ensemble. If so, you will need to update them to point directly to Panopto before October 1, as they will no longer work after this date.
