Remote Access/VPN Advisory

As previously announced, Information Technology Services (ITS) performed maintenance of Temple's remote access systems this weekend. Some users have reported that they cannot see their recent and/or saved remote computer(s) when using the following services.

General Remote Access

  • remoteproxy.temple.edu
  • hrp.temple.edu
  • dentalremote.temple.edu

VPN Access

  • remote.temple.edu
  • HIPAA VPN
  • Vendor VPN

Action May Be Required

If you are unable to see your recent and/or saved remote computer(s), please try clearing your browser cache.

If clearing your browser cache does not resolve the issue, follow these instructions to obtain your remote computer IP address(es) and reconnect to your remote computer:

  1. Log into tuportal.temple.edu
  2. Under TU Applications click Remote Connect
  3. Identify your computer under IP Addresses
  4. Connect to your computer on campus
